Giancarlo Stanton had a special workout of the day for May the 4th, and it was perfect.
Wearing a movie-quality Chewbacca mask, the Marlins slugger finished up a set lat pulldowns and broke out a dramatic Chewie impression.
The lasers, the music, the Chewie voice — it was all there. Stanton eventually dives away to take cover, because lasers. He had no use for that water bottle and tossed it aside.
This was an impression that the Marlins clubhouse will be proud of, especially the acting enthusiasts.
